www.scotscorner.co.nz Scots Corner evolved from an established family business in early 1998 as an attempt to provide information on and access to the activities of various locally based Scottish institutions - Caledonian Societies, Pipe Bands, Country & Highland Dancing, etc. Complementing our imported goods, we produce a range of clan related stationery items, clan crested glassware and shortbread moulds. Our combined experience and involvement with Caledonian Societies (Committee Member), Pipe Bands (Piper, Pipe Major), Clan Associations (Chief's Lieutenant for New Zealand) and traditional Scottish music covers nearly 80 years.
The 2010 festival Thursday April 29th to Sunday May 2nd. The 2010 festival will honour the Celtic Nation of The Isle of Man. The festival’s main venue is the Australian Standing Stones, an array of granite monoliths, similar to the Ring of Brodgar. To rise at dawn and listen to the eerie skirl of pipes in the autumn mists at the Standing Stones is an experience not to be missed.
