A superb 4 day Scottish whisky experience

This whisky experience can be taken almost at any time of the year, although advance booking is ESSENTIAL. We can arrange transport to and from our two locations if you wish or you can arrive by train/car under your own steam. The Whisky School Host is Peter Guthrie; Brand Experience Co-ordinator, Dewar's World of Whisky, Aberfeldy Distillery. The whisky dinner host will be Regis from whisky mad!  Our four day package includes two nights accommodation near the Aberfeldy distillery, whisky school itinerary as shown right, followed by two days and nights in Edinburgh, to include a free day and night to explore this Capital of Scotland, plus tickets for the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre, free time and a superb whisky dinner.

DAY 1:  Arrival and Lunch at local hotel near to the Distillery. Our driver will then transfer you to the distillery. There follows a Scotch history and heritage session (in distillery meeting room). Dewar's World of Whisky Exhibition and Tasting of Aberfeldy Single Malts. Session lasts approx 3 hours. Return to hotel.

DAY 2:  A transfer to the distillery followed by; Making Single Malt Whisky session. Distillery Tour including Cask Tasting in the Warehouse.  Break for lunch (not included in cost). The afternoon starts with a Blending Scotch Whisky session including a make your own blend. Tasting of Dewar's Blends.  Finish and Return to hotel. Today's time at the distillery is approx two 3 hour sessions separated by a lunch time period.

DAY 3; the tour moves to our capital, Edinburgh. Free time here to do as you wish, exploring the many locations and visits, old and new town, castle and Royal Mile. Edinburgh guide. Overnight Edinburgh.

DAY 4; another day in Edinburgh, today you have tickets for the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre. Maybe explore one or two very good whisky pubs in the city also? This evening the tour ends with a superb whisky dinner at the hotel, a different dram to go with each course, what a way to end! Overnight Edinburgh.
