It will come as no surprise to find that mcleanscotland support the RNLI as we are an island nation with many miles of coastline. The crews do a fantastic job, they do not get government funding - they rely totally on donations. WE ARE PROUD TO SUPPORT THEM! Why not pay a visit to the website: www.rnli.org.uk If you come touring with us, sooner or later you will arrive at the sea or ocean, these guys are here 24 - 7 and willing to put their lives on the line should anyone need help. Most of the lifeboat crews are volunteers, these people are prepared to risk their lives to save others and include, fishermen, teachers, builders, solicitors, farmers, and shop keepers. With the reduction in the size of fishing fleets, less than 10% of new crew come with a nautical background.
